Sue
Rehmus is the founder of CHUMS. She was born and raised
in St. Charles, Michigan where she began the local school SADD
(Students Against Drunk Driving) Chapter, played basketball, volleyball,
and softball and was very active in student government.
Sue graduated
from Michigan State University in 1993 with a bachelor of Arts
and Sciences degree in Communication with an emphasis on
public speaking.
After graduation,
Sue began working for a mid-Michigan radio station before accepting
a position with the American Lung Association of Michigan as a
Special Events Coordinator raising funds for the organization.
She moved
on to be the Campaign Director for the United Way of Saginaw County
raising nearly $4 million before being recruited by General
Motors.
Currently,
Sue is the communication manager for General Motors' North American
Service and Parts Operations. In addition to her work for CHUMS
and GM, Sue is also an active member of the Multiple
Sclerosis Association of America's Board of Directors.
Sue obtained
her Master of Arts degree in Communication and Multimedia from
Saginaw Valley State University in the summer of 2002.
