Sue
Rehmus is the founder of CHUMS. She was born and raised
in St. Charles, Michigan where she began the local school SADD
(Students Against Drunk Driving) Chapter, played basketball, volleyball,
and softball and was very active in student government.
Sue holds
a bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis on public
speaking from Michigan State University and a master's degree
in Communication and Multimedia from Saginaw Valley State University.
Sue's professional
career began working for a mid-Michigan radio station before accepting
a position with the American Lung Association of Michigan as a
Special Events Coordinator raising funds for the organization.
She moved
on to be the Campaign Director for the United Way of Saginaw County
(MI) raising nearly $4 million before being recruited by General
Motors where she led many complex communication initiatives
over the next decade in Michigan, Tennessee, Dubai and South Africa.
Sue is an
active member of the Multiple
Sclerosis Association of America's Board of Directors.
